The short version
Use it in your own work, including work you are paid for. Change it as much as you like. Do not sell it on, give it away, or put it anywhere someone else could download the file itself.
What you get
On payment, we grant you a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use the file for the purposes set out below. The licence is yours and cannot be transferred to anyone else. We keep the copyright in the file and in everything we made to build it.
Unless a product page says “Personal use only”, every file on this shop carries the commercial licence described here at no extra cost. We do not sell the same file twice at two prices.
What you may do
- Use the file for yourself, your household, your business or your employer.
- Use it in paid client work, and hand over the result — the finished deck, brand, render, dashboard or document.
- Edit, restructure, recolour, translate and build on it. The result is yours.
- Use it in something you sell, as long as the thing you sell is not substantially the file itself: a book that uses the illustrations, a product render, a course that includes a filled-in planner, an app whose interface uses the icons.
- Print it, as many times as you want, for yourself or for a client.
- Keep using it forever, including after you stop buying from us.
What you may never do
- Resell, licence, rent or give away the file, on its own or repackaged in a bundle, pack or “resource library”.
- Upload it anywhere it can be downloaded by others — a public Notion page, a Drive folder, a template marketplace, a forum, a torrent.
- Share your download link, your account, or the source file with people outside your organisation. Inside your organisation, share it freely.
- Claim you made it, or licence it to someone else as your own work.
- Use it, in whole or in part, as training data for a machine-learning model, or feed it to a service that does so.
- Mint it as an NFT or attach it to any token or blockchain asset.
- Use it in anything unlawful, hateful, or intended to deceive people.
The rule behind all of these: the value is in the file, so anything that hands the file itself to someone who did not buy it is out.
Client work
You may use a file in work you are paid for, and you may deliver the result to your client. You may not deliver the source file as a deliverable, and you may not buy one copy and use it as a shared asset across an agency’s whole client roster. One purchase covers one organisation’s own use plus the client work that organisation carries out.
If your client needs the editable source — a Notion workspace they will keep running, a spreadsheet they will maintain — they need their own copy. They cost less than an hour of your time.
Notes by format
Notion templates. Duplicate into as many of your own workspaces as you need. Do not publish the duplicated template to the web where it can be duplicated by others, and do not list it in a Notion template gallery, free or paid.
PDFs and printables. Print freely. Do not distribute the PDF itself as a download, a lead magnet, or a freebie.
Spreadsheets. Use them in your business and for clients. Do not sell the workbook, or a lightly edited version of it, as a template.
2D assets. Use in interfaces, print, video and merchandise. Do not resell the vectors, and do not include the source files in a product that is itself a design resource.
3D models. Renders, animations and game builds made with the model are yours to sell. The model file — mesh, textures, rig — is not, and may not be sold, given away or included in a game’s extractable assets in editable form.
Software with a licence key. One key activates one computer. To use it on more computers, buy one key for each computer. This also applies inside your household or organisation.
Bundles
A bundle carries the same licence as the files inside it. Buying a bundle does not give you the right to split it and pass individual files on.
Teams
One purchase covers one organisation. Everyone in that organisation may use the file for the organisation’s work. Software with a licence key is the exception: one key activates one computer, so buy one key for each computer. A separate legal entity — a sister company, a franchisee, a client — needs its own copy.
If the licence ends
The licence ends if you break these terms, or if we refund your purchase. When it ends, stop using the file and delete the copies you hold, including duplicated workspaces and files inside project folders. Work you already delivered to a client before that point stays licensed — we are not going to reach into finished projects.
Not sure?
If you are looking at this page trying to work out whether your plan is allowed, just ask us. Describe what you want to do in a sentence. We answer quickly, we say yes more often than not, and a written yes from us is worth more than a guess.
